Rural America Curriculum

If the managers of rural telephone companies were doctors they would be the general practitioners and their city cousins would the "specialists" with the luxury of studying just one field. Frequently an employee in a rural telephone company has to master the skills that span several departments. That's why we developed the Rural America curriculum from the ground up just for these versatile rural telco people.

The Rural America curriculum goes beyond the technologies and includes how to plan and provision, market and manage in a rural independent territory. Because our students need to implement what they learn we provide labs, demonstrations, workshops, and business cases from companies like theirs.

Public and Private Classes

In 2006 we will team with over 25 state networks and associations in
providing public classes for their member companies. You can find the
current schedule in our enrollment section. We are frequently asked to
return to hold private sessions on our customer's premises. When we're in
town we can train almost every employee including directors, technicians and
customer service reps. It's really great to see everyone speaking the same
language when we leave with a better idea of what the company is doing.

Rural America Courses
Each of our Rural America courses is really a composite of several courses.
We know that the members of the state networks and associations can only
attend a few courses a year so we've combined the best of many courses into these three. We can provide much greater detail in any of these areas if required.
