Emergency Medical Management
& First Responder Training

The Medical Community is a unique mixture of individual hospitals, small and large health care systems, and city sponsored facilities. First responders are a similar mixture of EMTs, Fire Fighters, Police Officers and many other city, county, state and national agencies. Each of these has specific needs and expectations. Our instructors come from the healthcare field and have worked in hospitals as patient care providers and in many roles as first responders including fire chiefs. We are quite familiar with the current requirements for general readiness for all these institutions. Our instructors have taught over 6,000 students in emergency medical management and hospital decontamination topics. These courses range from the awareness level to the technician level. We also conduct functional drills and tabletop exercises.

EMM Faculty

Our instructors are established emergency services professionals who have worked extensively in their careers as physician’s assistants, paramedics, allied heath professionals, emergency medical technicians and health care administrators.

We are the educator of choice for experienced students who need to acquire and practice the skills required to do their jobs.

We train the first responders and medical workers in New York City. They’re serious. Serious about their work and dedicated to protecting their patients, fellow workers and keeping their institutions open in a crisis. So is ALS. Saying our students and we are “hard to please” is an understatement. Despite their highest expectations, 94.3% of these NYC veterans rated our training a perfect “5” on a scale of 1 to 5.

Applied and Hands-On Training, Drills and Exercises

All of our instructor led courses include experiential learning with drills and hands-on exercises, where students build both understanding and confidence.

Accreditation and Certification

Our EMM courses are certified to the OSHA Operation awareness level. For students in New York City the operations level course is accredited for 8 hours CME credit by REMSCO and REMAC.
